Epsom Launch 2017

The new kitchen for The Epsom Street Community Centre was funded, and is now officially open.

The kitchen was funded and extensively equipped through a variety of donations from many companies and well-doers in the community. John Lewis' Community Investment Fund provided appliances and cooking equipment.

The ribbon for the vent was cut by Housing Maintenance Solutions apprentice, and former attendee at the Young Person Group at Epsy, Anthony Burns. Liverpool's Lord mayor, Councillor Malcolm Kennedy, was also on hand to help open the kitchen.

Two guest chef's attended the event; Carringtons Catering's Darren Wynne and our very own Kevin Kirby. Both chef's worked their magic in the kitchen, the guests at the event judged each dish and Kevin took home the trophy.

We are proud to have helped such a virtuous and honourable cause.

MacMillan Coffee Morning

Friday, 29th of September (2017) was the annual fundraising event: World's Biggest Coffee Morning!

We are happy to announce that our incredible team at Training Strategies baked our hearts and souls out to create the delightful treats for the day. Happiness, confectionery and the sweet smell of generosity was in the air.

We are proud to announce that we raised a fantastic £405 for the event!

(and probably gained a few lbs)
