Course Overview

At Training Strategies our Customer Service course allows individuals to gain experience and qualify to work in an industry that is always growing and seeking new staff. Our advanced pre-employment course exceeds industry standards and develops skills and understanding in a range of areas around the customer service field and prepares you for employment.

Our Level 1 qualification will ensure you have a strong understanding of how to deliver customer service effectively and communicate correctly in the working environment. Once you begin Level 2, you will gain a greater knowledge of handling more difficult customer experiences and become more involved in improving your team’s level of customer service.

Course Content

The Customer Service course runs over a 5-6 day period and is divided into two components:

  • How to deliver good customer service.
  • Different methods of communication.
  • How to provide customer service in line with organisational procedures.
  • How to effectively deal with customer queries, complaints and problems.
  • Communicating in a work environment.
  • Delivery of effective customer service.
  • Self-assessment.

Assessment Process

Unlike many of our other pre-employment courses, this programme does not have an examination on the final day. Instead, you will be assessed on the work you have completed during the course and submitted to your assessor in your portfolio.
