An industry relevant qualification is awarded upon successful completion.
- Project (from month 9 on programme):
Apprentices are required to complete a project that covers a process they have improved and developed a greater understanding of or a specific project topic selected by their employer.
With the support of their assessors, apprentices are required to complete a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their understanding of the theoretical practices of the qualification.
Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths Functional Skills, they must do so before taking the End Point Assessment (EPA).
To progress to Gateway, apprentices’ must complete all aspects of On Programme.
In order to prepare the apprentice for their EPA we:
- Plan EPA – timescale, dates, information etc.
- Preparation and delivery of mock interview and presentation.
- Complete mock knowledge tests.
To keep the process in line with the final EPA, our practice assessments are carried out by another member of our assessing team so there is no assessor/apprentice connection already established.
