This accredited apprenticeship is suitable for apprentices working within a team-leading role in a variety of industries. The course covers areas including: leading and managing a team, managing personal and professional development, understanding business. Other unit subjects are: participating in a project, contributing to meetings and resolving customer service problems.
The Team Leader / Supervisor apprenticeship is an integrated programme of knowledge and skills acquisition, developed alongside core behaviours expected of a competence worker operating in a regulated field. The award of the apprenticeship certificate will signify a recognition of competence in a role and enable progression to higher levels of skills development.
Standard Breakdown
On Programme
The on program aspect of the apprenticeship covers the essential skills required to succeed in a customer service environment, including: the principles and practice of learning and development and improving your own performance and customer awareness.
Apprentices receive on-the-job training to ensure they are able to put newly acquired skills into practice from the outset.
Apprentices complete off-the-job training, which includes: online learning, training and shadowing delivered by the employer, industry visits and time spent writing and completing assessments.
An industry relevant qualification is optional and can be included within a qualification tailored to employer requirements.
Apprentices are required to have achieved Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English to be eligible to complete Level 2 exams prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.
To progress to Gateway, apprentices’ must complete all aspects of On Programme.

In order to prepare the apprentice for their End Point Assessment (EPA) we:
To keep the process in line with the final EPA, our practice assessments are carried out by another member of our assessing team so there is no assessor/apprentice connection already established.
These apprenticeships are assessed through the work completed during the course and submitted in a portfolio of evidence to the course assessor. In order to achieve this qualification, apprentices must demonstrate that they have met the required assessment criteria.

All aspects of the assessment strategy must be successfully completed to achieve certification.
