Our expert Account Managers can help you to understand how apprenticeships and other forms of workplace development can positively impact your bottom line, through helping to recruit the 'right' new staff, upskilling existing staff whilst improving retention, motivation and workforce productivity.

A traineeship is an educational journey including both classroom based learning and work experience to help you be prepared for your future career. These courses are for learners aged between 16 and 24 who currently do not have the skill set to competently join a work force. Upon completion, as well as gaining a nationally accepted qualification the learner will also have the skill set and experience to move on to a career.

What is a Traineeship?

A pre-employment course is a Government funded education opportunity that we provide to any learners over the age of 24. These training programmes are 6-8 week short courses, targeted at occupational areas that need qualifications and in an area with growing vocational opportunities. Upon completion of a pre-employment course with us, the learner will gain a qualification and we will then proceed to help these learners to find employment.

We can help you find the perfect employee with the right skills for your business.

Our Traineeship and Pre-Employment programmes can be tailored to ensure candidates receive the skills training required before recruitment. This can then even be reinforced through our apprenticeship programmes.

APPRENTICESHIP REFORM

You might have heard who pays for apprentices from May 1st changes:

If your organisation has an annual paybill of over £3M you will pay an apprenticeship levy into the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS), think internet banking.

You can use the funds paid into the levy to 'purchase' apprenticeship training from training strategies.

For Non Levy Employers, those with paybills below £3M, the government pays 90% towards the cost of training.

The only payment you make is the outstanding 10%

Sounds like a good deal... well, it is.
